How it works

Remember: you are unique, everyone has different combinations of hair type and density, so all of the numbers here are for orientation only and many vary between individuals.

Initial Session

Your initial IPL treatment will target many of the hairs which are currently growing. In the days or sometimes weeks after the first treatment, most of the hairs which were growing will fall out, while the rest will keep growing as usual. From the first session on, you will see reduced hair-growth.

Consecutive Sessions

New hairs will continue to appear after the initial session. The hairs that were in the resting phase in the previous session will now be in the growing phase. That is why you will need further follow-up sessions. During the consecutive sessions, the same process will apply, IPL will target the hairs which are in the growing phase and eliminate them.

After the session

Over the next few days (approximately 7 days) some body hair will still be present. It will continue to grow for 3 or 4 days.

After the 8th day, body hair will begin to fall out. Hairs will not all fall out at the same time. This process takes approximately 2 weeks.

Three weeks after the session all the flashed body hair will have fallen out. It will not begin to re-grow for 40 to 60 days after the session.

After each successive session, fewer and fewer hairs will re-grow. The “survivors” will become increasingly thin and will take longer to re-grow.

The number of required sessions varies from person to person and depends on individual needs.

risky areas (spots, birthmarks, warts, unhealed wounds, etc)
moles: if they are located in the area to be treated, they should first be covered using the Patches which come with the device

tattooed areas - cosmetic tattoo (for example, lip contour) or aesthetic tattoo regardless of colour
if you suffer from a skin disease (eczema, inflammations, acne, etc)
if you are undergoing photosensitising treatment (consult your doctor)
if you have experienced skin pathologies in the past, you should consult your doctor before IPL treatment
if you have experienced sunburn within the past month

Please note: 

IPL treatment booked after 9pm will incur additional cost.
If extra travel is required for the Therapist to reach your preferred location, additional charge will be added to your treatment cost.
In cases where travelling out of London or out of the United Kingdom is required, all travel costs must be paid by the client.
If the Therapist is required to wait for more than 10 minutes on arrival, additional charge will be added to your treatment cost.
We do not guarantee that the product/service will result in your expected outcome due 
  to the initial conditions of the client’s skin, nor are we responsible for anything 
  performed by the client post- or pre-treatment that may impact the high standard of 
  the product/service. Different clients may experience different product/service 
  results due to circumstances outside of our control. End results may vary from 
  client to client.

Location and Parking: 

 If your location falls within a congestion area, an additional £15 will be added to the total cost of your treatment. This is to cover the expenses incurred due to the congestion charge.
 If the Therapist is required to park in a 'pay and display' area, an additional charge will be applied to the treatment cost. This ensures that we can cover the parking fees associated with providing our services conveniently.
